$750 is a very good price for this machine
The previous generation Asus FX502VM is a basic laptop, but with excellent gaming performance for the price. The GTX 1060 3GB + I5-6300HQ combination is a very good combination for 1080p gaming. The TN panel is really low quality but can be easily replaced, even to a 120HZ display.
For this price you’d usually get a laptop with a GTX 1050 Ti which will be vastly slower for gaming and it will be probably housed in a not a lot better laptop overall, in terms of extras and features.
However, it’s important to say what this machine doesn’t have – no mDP, no Thunderbolt 3, probably no NVMe (not sure) and no USB Type-C. None of these are too bad by themselves. It’s important to say that this machine does have an HDMI 2.0 (for 4K@60FPS output).
Anyway, for $750 that’s a steal. Get it, replace the screen and game on.
