Dell inspiron 15 7548

WRONG. Has not M270. Dell offers $100 refund

The new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (model 7548) is here. The Inspiron 15 7000 is meant to be a high quality machine with some 3D performance. Compared to the previous generation, you’d get the same 3D power, at best and usually less than that. Moreover, as a gaming machine, it will suffice for gaming at low-medium settings for most 3D demanding games.

But, the reason this is considered as a “deal” by me, is that for $650 including a Dell 7 3000 tablet, you won’t find really good competitors as new laptops. The others, like the Lenovo Y40 and some Acer laptops with GT 840M are not well built as the Inspiron 15 7000 and/or have some qualities missing.

The 15 7000 packs a combination of qualities and features suitable for those who want a very mild gaming capability, and mainly focus on high quality of material, keyboard, IPS display, weight and looks, ac wifi card, in a 15.6″ laptop. We still have no current reviews, but the previous generation was pretty good, if it was offered for such a price with a dedicated GPU.

You can consider the price to be around $570-$600, if you need a tablet and it makes this model to be the best option, in my opinion, for a new laptop around $600.

Competitors / other options

  • All the other laptops under $1000, but such a combination of quality and performance for such a price is hard to come by with a new laptop, currently.

Asked myself the same question. I know they have such a thing, but I don’t know if it’s automatic with Inspiron models
