Dell Inspiron 7567

The Dell Inspiron 7567 (“7000 gaming” as they call it) is Dell’s lower midrange gaming laptop. tThis version equipped with a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and an I5-7300HQ which is an excellent combination for gaming.

The 7567 is a fairly basic machine, but it has some advantages and it’s quite popular. The simple, non-gamery, looks are an advantage for many, the battery running times are pretty good for such a laptop, reaching ~580 minutes for normal use and 520 minutes for 1080p youtube video, in my tests. Thermals are also pretty good, especially with the I5 CPU. According to my tests of the 7567 and the competitor Acer VX5-591G, the 7567 does better in these aspects. Also, it has an HDMI 2.0.

Performance-wise, current laptops with a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB and an I5 or I7 deliver around the same FPSs. The performance is close enough to the previous generation GTX 970M performance and usually within 80-100% of the performance. For 1080p, that’s excellent, even though in some games you might need to reduce graphic settings a bit to get noticeable smoother experience.

The 7567 biggest problem was probably the low quality display. However, the 7567 linked to is the version with an IPS and it’s selling for $800 on bestbuy, which is pretty good for this laptop and I would recommend it, if you are looking for a $800 gaming laptop, and you are not interested in used/refurbished laptops which are sometimes available.

I would recommend also to check the other options in the link below.

All the competitors are listed in the section of gaming laptops under $1000
